Although the weather was cold and somewhat damp a happy band of intrepid Humber members made their way down to Tyabb to the Packing House Antiques and Collectibles on Thursday 5 September. Ann and Colin Anderson braved the weather and came in their very smart green Humber.
What fun we all had searching for that special something and generally have a good look at things of yesteryear. Amongst the thousands of excellently presented items some of us got lucky and found a treasure. John did look very smart in the bowler hat he bought and we look forward to seeing him wearing it while driving his 1927 Humber. Sylvia Pieterson and I had great delight in the thousands of books there that were very neatly sorted making it easier to find our "treasures". We both made a number of interesting purchases and look forward to curling up with our good books. Merv Sherlock thought it prudent not to go near the books as the temptation he felt would have been too great!
